Here at Tamworth House Sitters…It is our responsibility to live in and look after your home in your absence.
This can include house security, house cleaning duties, garden maintenance, caring for pets, forwarding mail and phone messages, the occasional odd job, and anything else which we all agree on. The bottom line is it's all negotiable between you and us.
In most cases there are no fees payable, generally it's just a straight swap; we care for the house and pets in exchange for free accommodation. However there may be times when a fee is requested; for example if the length of the sit is less than 2 weeks, the house is located out of the immediate Tamworth Area and/ or there are lots of pets to care for and jobs to do. It's all negotiable and is worked out to be something that is fair to both parties.
House sits run smoothly 99% of the time. Out of those house sits where something may end up broken or damaged by us we are happy to cover the cost if it was our fault. If the damage was caused due to the age of the house etc then the homeowner covers the cost of the repairs.
Before each housesit a house sitting agreement is completed to prevent any potential problems for either you or us. We all agree on the expectations & requirements of the house-sitting assignment.
